‘I DO!’, you are probably saying to the title in this post. Of course you do, we all do, but what are you doing every day to get them?
Business owners often think that marketing is an event, something to plan in the future, prepare for, participate in, and then follow up on. Well, most of that is true except the “plan in the future” part. Marketing your business to get more clients is an EVERY DAY part of your business. Here are a few things you could be doing EVERY DAY to get more clients.
Network (Chamber, Board of Trade, BNI)
- Social Media
- Cold calls, warm calls and follow-up calls
- Speaking (seminars, workshops, presentations)
- Trade shows
- Print (Flyers, brochures, mailing, Bulletin boards, Billboards)
- E-mail campaign
- Website (SEO, blogging)
- Volunteer
Don’t pick just one of these, pick 3 to 5 to start with and work them into your week’s routine. If you do this regularly you will start seeing more clients.
