Helping Hand: Building Trust for Business Online
One way to create trust in your business relationships is to help someone. You don’t have to be face-to-face with them or even in their community. If you have ever shared something online to help someone sell tickets, raise money, or get a job then you are doing this.
This is so important when you are using social media to build a business. If you want people to follow what you are doing and saying it cannot be a ‘sell’ all the time. In fact the consensus I have heard is the old 80/20 rule, where 80 percent of your time is spent giving and the other 20% is informing.
What a great way to start a long weekend with the feeling of giving a gift to help others become more successful. Try it out and you will start seeing more people following you and interacting with your content.

Hi Barb,
I love, love this article! There are so many people on the internet these days that just do not get this concept. There is nothing more satisfying than helping people and building their trust. Don’t you agree?
All my best,
Carrie Krishnek

Hi Andrea:
I get most of my images from Microsoft’s free image catelogue. Look up Clipart on microsoft.com and select Photos so you don’t have to see all the trashy clip art. There is not a huge amount to choose from but the images they do have are great quality.
It was a free images from Microsoft so yes you can use it. I know your daughter’s project is likely done. I don’t get notified when messages come and obviously I have been very delinquent checking this blog. I hope her project went well.
I’m glad you enjoyed the blog. I write longer articles on my other blog sight http://www.blitzbigthinker.com if you are a business owners and interested in articles on business growth.
